
Biography
Luke Hershman is a trumpet player from the New Jersey area. He graduated from Rowan University with a degree in music education and was a student of Dr. Bryan Appleby-Wineberg. Now he is studying at Indiana University for his masters degree in trumpet performance and is a student of Joey Tartell.
Luke Hershman played cornet for two seasons with The Atlantic Brass Band. Luke also performed with the Cadets² Drum and Bugle Corps from 2017- 2018 serving as the trumpet section leader for the 2018 season. In 2019 he played lead trumpet with the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps.

As an educator his goal is to guide young trumpet players into complete well-rounded musicians and people through the medium of playing trumpet. He taught the marching band at Clearview Regional High School as a tech for four seasons. Luke is also a brass technician for the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2023 season.

Luke Hershman grew up in Cherry Hill New Jersey and now lives in Bloomington Indiana with his girlfriend Kayleigh and cat Guppy.
